Contest Details

For the 2nd year, MASSIF DU SUD is supporting Winter sports video production on a local level. Participants who put together an edit with their season’s best shots or tell a compelling story have a chance to win the grand prize and to have their video presented at the 2022 iF3 Festival!

CONTEST RULES

Contest participants need to comply with the following regulations in order to enter the iF3 VideoQuest MASSIF DU SUD:

• Participants agree to let iF3 exclusively release the video online via its network
• Participants are then encouraged to share the video extensively
• At least 90% of the edit must be filmed at MASSIF DU SUD mountain.
• Edits must not exceed 3 minutes
• Participants must have music rights on all songs in their edit. 
• All footage must be shot during the 2021-2022 season
• Edits cannot contain any violence or vulgar/degrading content
• Edits cannot contain any non-iF3 VideoQuest or MASSIF DU SUD logos. No added logos at the beginning of any submission
• Participants must register before submitting their project
• Videos must be readable in Quicktime, at 1080p minimum, and compressed using H.264
• The winner will be selected by a panel of iF3 judges and announced at the screening event March 26th, 2022 at the bar "Le Sous-Bois" at Massif Du Sud at 4:00 p.m.. 
• If there is any non-English dialog, include subtitles

1st Place Overall

• $1,000 CASH
• 2 Gold Passes for the iF3 Montreal Festival,  October, 2022 (a value of $250 + tx.)
• Video presented at iF3 Montreal 2022
• More prizes to be announced

2nd Place

• 2 Gold Passes for the iF3 Montreal Festival October 2022 (a value of $250 + tx.)

3rd Place
